Mithras is the god-king and god of the sun of ancient Persia.
Summary []
He's the king of the end who summoned Veretharagna to aid in capturing Madame Aisha.
Appearance[]
Mithras has a very robust body and face covered with a beard. He wears a red cape over his body and a traditional cap. He also owned an imperial scepter made from gold to demonstrate his kingship. Despite that, his facial complexion is bad, as Veretharagna describes it as a setting sun close to its death.
Personality []
Mithras is an extremely serious individual. In contrast to Rama, Mithras doesn't show any disdain or resignation towards his position. He takes his duty as King of the End extremely seriously. Whenever a godslayer is born, he'll descend and slay them immediately. Not only that, He's willing to go as far as killing other gods who appear on earth. Since godslayers won't be born if these impudent gods don't exist in the first place. Even Veretharagna is taken aback by this and compares Mithras's mindset to that of madness.
Plot[]
Light Novel[]
Campione Ex: He made his first official appearance.
Powers & Abilities []
Mithras is an extremely powerful god if not one of the most powerful. He manages to kill every god and godslayers that he fought, granting a lasting peace in the world for more than four hundred years. As king of gods, He rules over many things, ranging from war, warrior, law, wealth, contract, and stock-farming. Even Veretharagna states that Mithras possesses far more diverse authorities and attributes than himself. With the blessing of Zurvan, Mithras can peer into the future, thus resulting in him sparing Aisha instead of killing her instantly.
He can call his subject from outside of space and time. He's capable of resurrecting a god with his own power too.
His power is strong enough to create a sanctuary that exists outside of space and time together with Zurvan.
Divine Sword of Salvation: He presumably possesses the same ability to release [White star], [Lightning of Salvation] and use The Great Ritual of Old Conversant. However, Mithras overused this sword and quickly burned down his life force, and if not for Zurvan's aid, he'd be dead for a long time now.
Trivia[]
- Mithras was the second king of the end to appear in the series Campione!, the first being Rama, and the third Verethragna as the successor of Mithras.
