Shizuka Kusanagi (草薙 静花, Kusanagi Shizuka) is the younger sister of Godou Kusanagi.
Appearance[]
Shizuka has neck-length, brown hair that is usually done up by pink hairbands and green eyes.
Personality[]
Shizuka appears to be a very strong-willed girl who always thinks Godou Kusanagi is up to something, no matter how much he tries to deny it. She is always willing to call Godou on something when she thinks he has done wrong, and fears that Godou has inherited their grandfather Ichirou Kusanagi's ladykiller ways.
History[]
Little is known about Shizuka's past except that she is Godou Kusanagi's younger sister where the pair was mostly raised by their grandfather Ichirou Kusanagi as both their parents were very active and busy people. Their parents have divorced, but it was not stated when they got divorced.

Etymology[]
- The name Shizuka means "quiet" (静) (shizu) and "flower, blossom" (花) (ka).
- Shizuka's surname Kusanagi means "grass, herb, weed" (草) (kusa) and "mow" (薙) (nagi).
- Kusanagi comes from Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi (which is the name Yamato Takeru gave to the Ame-no-Murakumo-no-Tsurugi), a legendary Japanese sword and one of three Imperial Regalia of Japan that represents the virtue of valor.
