The Sword of Ama no Murakumo (天叢雲劍) is the twelfth episode of the Campione! anime series, released on September 21, 2012.
Synopsis[]
In the Intermediate World, Susano introduces himself to Godou. Over at Shizuka's home, she yells out for Godou and finds Athena sniffing a pillow that has Godou's scent. In Erica's fight, Ena explains that Susano is sending power to her blade, and she resumes her fight with Erica. When Susano reminds Godou about Pandora, Godou's head aches with the memories from the universe. Susano reveals the fight between Ena and Erica and explains that Ena has been possessed by Ama no Murakumo. He tells Godou to just think of the place in order to get there. As Erica recalls the warm memories of spending time with Godou, Ena allows the sword to take over her body. Ama no Murakumo absorbs Erica's mana. Meanwhile, Liliana senses Ama no Murakumo's presence while Yuri locates them. Amakasu arrives with help and points out to the strange events that is occurring all over the world.
In nick of time, Godou protects Erica from Ama no Murakumo, and he summons his golden swords to expose Ama no Murakumo's origins. When Ena's body is damaged, Ama no Murakumo retreats. Godou attempts to transport Erica and himself back to the human world but fails. Over at Shizuka's home, she learns how Godou had pierced Athena's heart. On the beach, Erica tells Godou to take care of Yuri and Liliana. After Erica has shared her happy moments with Godou, Godou kisses Erica roughly with passion. After Godou has screamed out loud, Verethragna reminds Godou to smash through the irrationality. Godou activates the adolescent's powers and injects his "divine protection" into Erica by giving her a very passionate kiss. Over at the shrine, a dark version of Athena, Metis, attacks Liliana and Yuri.
Then, Ama no Murakumo arrives to attack Godou and Erica. While Erica had blasted Ama no Murakumo, Godou takes Ena out of Ama no Murakumo's head. Ena finds herself straddling Godou's body. When the Intermediate World cracks, Metis absorbs Ama no Murakumo into her body.
